This building is at 906 S. Tyler Street, Amarillo, TX. It was built in 1926 for Plains Chevrolet at a cost of $50,000. It has also been home to Tony Chisum Motors, Badger Herring Motors Co, Cooper-Frede Motor, and J. M. Wise Motors. From 1938 until 1980, the building was home to Amarillo Furniture Co. Today it is home to ABC Blueprints. The reason it was home to so many car companies was probably because it had a freight elevator that could lift cars up to a second floor showroom.
